End of October. Fuzzy brain. But I don't have to use it for a day or two.

I was invited for a cuppa to the group of ladies who play badminton. It's lovely when a newbie is accepted and welcomed into a group that have known each other for a long time

Had the gas boiler serviced today. Wouldn't come back on when the man had finished. Clock had chosen that fortuitous moment to go wrong which was half the blessing and the other half was that he had one that fitted the existing base plate on the van. All toasty warm again now.

Tuesday was a lovely day, weather wise.  Unexpected warmth and sun at the end of October is certainly a blessing in my book!

Spent a part of Monday with my mum.  It's a blessing that she is feeling a bit more positive at the moment. Hope it lasts!

Not sure how I got 4 days behind again. This one should have been written on Sunday! it's a blessing that my mum and hubby are both so understanding when I am not feeling very bright..

I am cheating a bit, and playing catch up, so you need to read the three posts that follow as well as this one.  I may have mentioned it before but we are blessed in this country with a great variation in the weather. Maybe that's why so many Brits are so obsessed with it!
