What is this life, if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare.
I am blessed with the spare time to go for a walk and look at my surroundings.  I take photos sometimes. I love the angles and planes in this one.

Today is the first day of the rest of my life. I woke up this morning feeling enthusiastic about really REALLY getting on with the tidying and sorting and de-cluttering that will enable us to get the men in to rearrange the furniture. And to seriously do something about making Christmas cards to sell in support of our local hospital's cancer unit and to re read my novel and get it on Kindle. PHEW! Wish me luck.

I have been a dutiful daughter for most of today.  It is a pleasure but boy oh boy am I tired now.  But, through the wonders of modern technology I have been able to settle down to St John Passion on BBC4 as I taped it.  Bliss.

A bit of rain and some cooler weather.  The flowers will grow, the grass will stop being brown and Janet will be able to get lots of jobs done.
This picture is one I actually painted with paints and a brush, it is dated 1998.  Maybe I will get round to having another go one day.

Although my birthday isn't until next month, my mum and my hubby clubbed together to buy me an electric embossing/cutting machine.  Well, I had to unpack it to make sure it worked, didn't I!  This die is one that I have never been able to cut successfully with the hand cranked machine so I am very pleased with it.

I can sit comfortably at the PC again!  So I got on with some administration type stuff yesterday and then I drew a picture with the Sketch Pad program.  And the grass has been cut by the ever wonderful Sally.  Win Win Win

Just pretty

Just pretty

I managed to have a little wander round the garden yesterday evening, this picture was copied from Polyvore but I do have some of these, and a lot else besides
